My story
At Tom Ashton Insurance, I specialize in providing healthcare insurance for individuals. The plans offered include Medicare Advantage plans (i.e., HMO, PPO, PFFS, and special needs plans), Medicare Supplement plans, and Prescription Drug plans.
Additionally, accident, cancer, critical illness, and life insurance is available to individuals of all ages and their families. These include term life, universal life, mortgage protection, single premium whole life, whole life, and final expense options. I also offer index annuities for financial security as well as dental and vision insurance plans.
I work with each individual to analyze there situation and advise them to the best course of action. By handling some of the best companies in the industry, I can place you with a product that fits your needs and budget. I take great pride in putting my clients needs above my own financial gain.

Medicare Advantage
The types of Medicare Advantage (MA) plans are Health Maintenance Organizations (HMOs), some HMOs have a point-of-service (POS) benefit; Preferred Provider Organizations (PPOs), local and regional; Private Fee-for-Service (PFFS) Plans; and Medical Savings Account (MSA) Plans.
Medicare Supplement
Medicare Supplement plans also known as Medigap Plans pay all or part of the 20% Medicare does not pay.
If you travel often or don’t want to follow a network of doctors, than a Medicare Supplement Plan my be right for you.
Prescription Drug
Prescription Drug Plan (Part D) coverage is provided by private companies. The types of Part D plans are: Stand-alone Prescription Drug Plans (PDP), Medicare Advantage-Prescription Drug (MA-PD) Plans, Cost-PD Plans (Medicare health plans that cover Part D prescription drugs as an optional supplemental benefit.)
